Lead Occupational Therapist – Mental Health Facility
Bexhill-on-Sea | Up to £65,000 per annum
Full-time | Permanent
We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading provider of mental health services, for a Lead Occupational Therapist to join their dedicated team at a state-of-the-art facility based in Bexhill-on-Sea.
About the Role As the Lead Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in shaping and delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions for individuals experiencing complex mental health challenges. You will lead a team of OT professionals, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and supervise the occupational therapy team.
  • Assess and deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual client needs.
  • Contribute to service development and innovation in therapy provision.
  • Act as a key member of the senior clinical team, supporting strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance standards and policies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Proven experience in a senior or lead OT role within a mental health setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to recovery-focused, compassionate care.
