Clinical / Counselling Psychologist
Location: Southampton
Setting: Private Mental Health Hospital
Salary: Up to £58,250 per annum (pro rata)
Contract: Part-Time | 15 hours per week

We are proud to be working with a highly regarded private mental health hospital in Southampton to recruit an experienced and compassionate Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
This part-time role offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive, multidisciplinary team, delivering psychological assessment and intervention to individuals with a range of complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality psychological assessments, formulations, and evidence-based interventions
• Contribute to the development and delivery of individual and group therapies
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting care planning and risk assessment
• Support clinical governance and contribute to audit, training, and supervision
• Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
• Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or equivalent)
• Experience working within mental health inpatient or secure settings is desirable
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and clinical skills
• Commitment to delivering person-centred, trauma-informed care
