Dietitian – Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £27,000 – £46,000 per annum
Location: Essex
Our client, a reputable provider of specialist healthcare services, is seeking a qualified and experienced Dietitian to join a dedicated multidisciplinary team at a well-established private facility. Overview:
The service supports individuals experiencing a range of complex mental health challenges, including psychosis, mood and personality disorders, anxiety, trauma, and eating disorders. The care model is person-centred and recovery-focused, supported by a diverse team of mental health professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and therapists.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Dietitian, you will play a critical role in supporting patients through their recovery journey by:
- Conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients, particularly those with eating disorders.
- Developing and implementing tailored meal plans that consider both medical and psychological needs.
- Delivering education and counselling to patients and their families on balanced nutrition, healthy eating habits, and relapse prevention.
- Collaborating closely with the wider clinical team to ensure integrated and holistic care plans.
- Monitoring patients’ progress, adapting nutritional strategies as needed, and addressing any related complications.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable Dietitian with:
- Experience in clinical or specialist settings, ideally with individuals affected by eating disorders.
- Proficiency in nutritional assessment, dietary planning, and counselling aligned to complex care needs.
- A collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills and a supportive, empathetic manner.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
- HCPC registration
