Senior Support Worker
Location: Middle Barton
Salary: £15.40 – £16.00 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week
Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence
A well-established residential care provider is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join their friendly team at a children’s home in the Middle Barton area. This home supports young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), offering a nurturing and therapeutic environment.

The role includes:
- Leading by example and supporting the day-to-day running of the home
- Creating safe, engaging spaces for young people to thrive
- Supporting and supervising a small team of care professionals
- Building positive, trusting relationships with children in care
- Writing and updating care plans and behavioural support records
What you’ll need:
- A Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent)
- At least 12 months’ experience in residential children’s care
- Understanding of trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches
- A caring, flexible attitude with strong communication skills
- Willingness to work variable shifts (including weekends and sleep-ins)
