GP – Urgent Care Centre
Location: London
Salary: Up to £90,000 (pro rata)
Hours: 32 hours per week
The Role
We are recruiting a General Practitioner to join a well-established Urgent Care Centre in London, delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP who enjoys a fast-paced clinical environment with a strong focus on adult urgent care, alongside some paediatric exposure.
The role offers excellent work-life balance, structured shifts, and the opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team including nurses, ANPs, HCAs, and clinical support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with urgent, non-life-threatening conditions
- Provide high-quality clinical care in line with national guidelines and best practice
- Manage predominantly adult presentations, with some paediatric cases
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary urgent care team
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure patient safety at all times
Requirements
- Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience
- Background in Urgent Care, A&E, Minor Injuries, or similar acute settings
- Paediatric experience desirable, but not essential
- Confident managing acute presentations in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
