Clinical Pharmacist
Private Hospital | 22.5 Hours per Week | Up to £56,600 Pro Rata

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team within a modern, well-equipped private hospital setting. This is a part-time position (22.5 hours per week) offering a competitive salary of up to £56,600 pro rata, depending on experience.

About the Role As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred pharmaceutical care across a range of inpatient surgical and medical services. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safe, effective, and evidence-based use of medicines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatient wards and surgical units
  • Undertake medicines reconciliation and clinical screening
  • Support safe prescribing and medicines optimisation
  • Provide drug information and advice to medical and nursing staff
  • Participate in governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to policy development and implementation
  • Support antimicrobial stewardship and controlled drug governance

About You

  • GPhC registered Pharmacist
  • Minimum 4 years’ post-graduate clinical experience
  • Experience within hospital pharmacy (private or NHS)
  • Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team-working ability
  • Commitment to patient safety and service development
