Scrub Nurse / ODP – Private Hospital (Glasgow)
Salary: £35,000–£45,000 (DOE)
Contract: Full‑Time, Permanent

About the Role

A leading private hospital in Glasgow is seeking a skilled Scrub Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join its expanding theatre team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern, well‑equipped theatre department that covers a diverse range of specialities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality scrub support across a range of surgical specialities.
• Prepare, check and manage instruments and equipment according to theatre and safety standards.
• Work as part of a coordinated multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth running of surgical lists.
• Contribute to safe peri‑operative care and maintain excellent infection control and surgical safety practices.
• Deliver patient‑centred care in a fast‑paced private healthcare setting.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or ODP (HCPC).
• Previous scrub experience within theatres is essential.
• Strong organisational and clinical decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary theatre team.
• Professional, reliable and committed to delivering the highest standard of care.
