Occupational Therapist – School Based
Location: Walsall
Hours: Full Time, Term Time Only
Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding role supporting children and young people in an educational setting? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced OT to join a school in Walsall, providing specialist therapeutic interventions that make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored therapeutic interventions to children and young people in a school environment.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SEN teams, and wider multidisciplinary professionals.
• Assess student needs and develop individualised therapy plans to support emotional, sensory, and functional development.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on therapeutic strategies and best practice.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.

Requirements

• HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with children or within educational, SEN, or therapy‑focused settings (preferred).
• Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and a passion for improving outcomes for young people.
• Ability to work term‑time only while delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based interventions.
