Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Home Manager to support the leadership and day-to-day running of an elderly residential care home. You will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure high standards of care, compliance, and smooth operational delivery.

This role offers strong support from both the Home Manager and Operations Team, providing guidance on compliance, quality, and service performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager in the daily running of the service
• Lead shifts and provide senior presence within the home when required
• Ensure high-quality, person-centred care for elderly residents
• Support compliance with CQC and internal standards
• Assist with staff supervision, training, and performance management
• Help manage rotas, staffing levels, and operational needs
• Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and professionals
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance

Requirements

• Previous experience at Deputy Manager level within elderly residential care
• Strong understanding of care standards and CQC requirements
• Experience supervising and supporting care teams
• Ability to lead shifts and step into senior responsibilities when required
• Good communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• A supportive, hands-on approach to leadership
