Therapist (Children & Young People – SEND / SEMH Settings)
Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester
£37,600 – £45,400 (inclusive of school holidays)

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new service from the ground up, supporting children and young people aged 6–16 with a range of needs including:
- Autism
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Developmental trauma and neurodivergent profiles
The Role
As part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, you will support both educational and residential teams in creating therapeutic learning environments.
You will:
- Undertake clinical assessments and formulate individualised care plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to each young person
- Support colleagues in creating consistent, therapeutic approaches across the setting
- Monitor progress and provide feedback on outcomes
- Build strong, trusting relationships with young people and their families
About You
We are looking for a qualified therapist with experience working with children and young people.
You will have:
- Eligibility for membership with a relevant professional body (e.g. BACP or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of child development and therapeutic approaches
- Experience working with autism, SEMH and/or complex needs
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and empathetic approach
