We are currently partnering with a leading private hospital in Central London to recruit an experienced Theatre Team Leader – Robotics to join their established perioperative team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN or ODP to take on a senior leadership role within a high-performing theatre environment, with a specialist focus on robotic surgery.

The Opportunity
You will provide both clinical and managerial leadership within the theatre team, ensuring high standards of patient care while supporting the effective running and utilisation of theatre services.
You’ll work closely with surgeons and the wider multidisciplinary team across a varied and complex surgical caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and managerial leadership to the theatre team
  • Support the delivery of robotic and perioperative surgery
  • Coordinate theatre activity and maximise theatre utilisation
  • Supervise, support and develop theatre staff
  • Work closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
  • Promote evidence-based practice and continuous service improvement
  • Support clinical governance, patient safety and infection control standards

The Ideal Candidate

  • Registered Nurse (NMC) or ODP (HCPC)
  • Previous experience within a perioperative/theatre environment
  • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Experience or knowledge of robotic surgery highly desirable
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills
  • Confident working within multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and evidence-based practice
