Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking for an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people?

We are working with a specialist school in Oxfordshire that is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team, supporting pupils with a range of complex and additional needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with a passion for paediatric occupational therapy, SEND and specialist education to work in a supportive environment where therapy is closely integrated into the pupils’ education and day-to-day lives.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide assessment, intervention and ongoing support to children and young people, working closely with education staff, families and other professionals to help pupils develop their independence and achieve their individual goals.

We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working with children and young people and is keen to make a positive difference within a specialist education setting.
You will ideally have:

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
• A relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
• Experience working with children and young people
• Experience within paediatrics, SEN, SEND, education or specialist settings
• Knowledge of sensory processing, functional skills and developmental needs
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and intervention skills
• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A flexible, creative and child-centred approach
