Winchester
£31,000 – £42,000 per annum
24, 36 or 48 hours per week – nights only

We are recruiting for experienced Care Team Leads to join a supportive and welcoming nursing home in Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader who is looking to develop their leadership skills and progress their career within elderly care.

This is a hands-on Team Leader role, where you will be working alongside the care team on the floor. You will lead by example, support your colleagues and play an important role in ensuring residents receive outstanding, person-centred care.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous senior care experience within a nursing home, residential care home or elderly care setting.
• Experience working as a Senior Care Assistant, Senior Carer, Care Team Leader or Team Leader.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or an equivalent qualification is essential.
• A hands-on approach to care and a genuine passion for supporting older people.
• Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
• The confidence to lead and support a team while remaining actively involved in resident care.
• A caring, compassionate and positive approach.
• Medication experience is welcomed but not essential, as training can be provided.
• CHAPs training is also available within the first 12 months if you do not already hold the qualification.
