Practitioner Psychologist – School Based
Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £65,980 per annum (already pro-rated)
Hours: Part-time – 3 days per week
Contract: Permanent

FIND Medical is recruiting for an experienced Practitioner Psychologist to join a specialist school-based service in Halifax on a permanent, part-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for a Psychologist with experience supporting children and young people, particularly those with SEN, SEND and/or SEMH needs, looking to work within a specialist education setting.

The Role

You’ll work closely with children and young people alongside education and multidisciplinary professionals, providing psychological assessment and intervention to support their emotional, behavioural and developmental needs.

Requirements

• Qualified Practitioner Psychologist
• HCPC registered
• Experience working with children and young people
• Previous school or education-based experience highly desirable
• Experience supporting SEN, SEND and/or SEMH
• Strong assessment, formulation and intervention skills
• Confident working collaboratively with education and multidisciplinary teams
